ABOUT US

Pete bought his very first Vespa right here at VespaSF in 2007 after relocating from Ithaca, NY. "I'd researched San Francisco before the move, and knew it was the ideal city for scootering, so I sold the car and bought my LXV150 the moment I arrived-- the best decision I've ever made!!"

A self-professed "recovering architect," Pete's love for Vespas began while studying abroad in Rome. "Enrico Piaggio quite literally invented scooters when he produced the first Vespa in 1946. Owning an iconic piece of history was important to me. Vespa is where it all began."

Before joining VespaSF, Pete worked for a local architecture firm in SOMA and more recently as Director of Business Development, was instrumental in creating the brand for a green-tech startup company in Palo Alto.

Jennifer graduated from USF with a Computer Science degree in 2003 where she quickly realized (three years and eighty thousand dollars later) that the I.T. path was EXACTLY where she didn't want to be.

"So, I opened a browser and checked in with Craigslist.org - of course - the place where you find absolutely EVERYTHING in San Francisco. And within a couple weeks, and countless interviews later, I jumped on board with Cars Dawydiak. Sadly, the love affair didn't last very long. After a couple years of being an Office & Web Administrator, I was ready for something new. That's when the owner came down and handed me the keys to his Vespa ET4 - dragon red, fully equipped with a 190cc engine. I could sum up the experience in 2 words - Dream Machine. Let's just say, the Vespa was M.I.A for about two months".

The next key he gave her was the key to Vespa San Francisco. 5 years and a million smiles later, she built one of the largest dealerships in the country."My emphasis is always on client relationships. If you pump your heart into your clients and your staff, then the impossible becomes possible".
